Tutorial written for people with working knowledge of PSP

Tutorial was done in PSP XI

Needed:

A background scenery graphic of choice

A misted face tube

Accents

Favorite Brush

Gold Pattern

All settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated.

Save often

Step 1: File>New File>500x400 Transparent

See Below

2. Selections> select all ok

3.Edit>Copy> Background Graphic

4.Highlight working copy >Paste>Paste into Selection

5. Selections > Select none

6. Edit> Copy> Misted tube Highlight working copy
Edit> Paste>Paste as a New Layer

7. Image>Resize>All layers not checked, Lower opacity to 60 Move tube to left

8. Take three or so accents and put them around example below.

Effect 3d effect drop shadow 2 2 65 20

9. Now go to selection tool on rectangle 0 feather.

A rectangle from the bottom left to the bottom right.

Like example below

10. Foreground color black and background color in a light color and get the foreground gradient angle 0 repeats 1 . Linear Example below. If using a lighter color please invert the gradient so the light is on the outside.

11. Layers add new raster layer

12. Now flood fill with the gradient and lower opacity to 71

13. At the top of tool bar should be deform tool see example below

14. Now pull on each end to make the gradient raster to the end of right and left. Example below

activate move tool to get out of deform tool

15. Pull this gradient layer to the bottom where the white line in the middle is just showing.

16. Layers duplicate and bring this layer up over the bottom layer.

17. Layers >arrange>down and bring this layer to where the white center is. Lower opacity to 39

18. Layers merge visible

19: Image>Add Borders = 3 Symmetric checked a color not in your graphic Flood Fill with gold pattern

20: Image>Add Borders = 3 Color Black

21: Image>Add Borders=3 a color not in your graphic Flood Fill with gold pattern

22. Edit copy and edit paste as new layer

23. Image resize 90 percent Uncheck Resize all Layers

24. Edit copy edit past as new layer

25. Image resize 90 percent Uncheck Resize all Layers

26. Now the tricky part : ) activate the mover tool and bring the copies
to the top as seen below.

if you activate the mover tool and use the shift and up arrow
keys it is much easier to move the frames up.

27. Now to go the paintbrush tool and find a cool saying that you like and a color in foreground that you like. Example below

IfIf you want add a effect 3d effect bevel and a effect 3d effect drop shadow to your liking.

28. Layers merge all

29. File Export Jpeg optimizer Set compression value to: 25 compression
Hit Ok and save where you want the file to go.

30. Layers> Add new raster Layer

31. Add your watermark or text

And you are finished. Yahoo
